Once you have made your booking, your children will receive a personal Invitation from the Elves to come to the Lapland Village and help them make some decorations. You will have selected your date and session time. When you arrive at Witton Country Park climb aboard our Lapland Village, train and it will take you through the park and into the magical forest. On arrival, you will check in at Passport Control where everyone will be given a ‘Lapland Passport’ to visit the various attractions.
Your visit to Lapland Village will last at least four hours and your first thirty minutes will allow you to look around and take in the various offerings that we have created for you.
It’s then time to take a seat in our Lapland Village Theatre, and enjoy our Festive 30-minute Christmas celebration stage show, suitable for all the family and with a few surprises followed by a further thirty minutes to enjoy the village before setting of to visit the Elves in their workshop. Here the children can help to make a Christmas Tree decoration that they can take home. You will then have ninety minutes free time to take in all that the village has to offer.
Get your children to write a letter to Santa and they can hand it to Alabaster Snowball in Santa’s mailroom, Santa’s number one postmaster will then make sure it is delivered to the big man himself in time for Christmas and a great location for a photograph.
Visit Baubles & Beads Christmas Shop for a huge selection of Christmas decorations and tree ornaments and say hello to Sugar Plum Mary in our Christmas Pick n Mix sweet store.
Meet Mrs Claus in her kitchen where she is decorating Gingerbread Men, and then make a wish at our Christmas Wishing Well as we support Derian House Children’s Hospice.
For those last minute toys, visit the Elf’s Emporium for an impressive range of quality toys and gifts and do not forget to stop by our Reindeer where you can enter a competition to win a prize in a simple competition. Then jump on one of the rides at the Village Fun Fair it is all included in the ticket price.
You can also visit our Lapland Christmas Market located in authentic log cabins, festively decorated and offering a variety of quality gifts and products and nestling in the forest. There will be lots of ‘selfie spots’ such as the Giant Baubles, Christmas Wreath, Giant Presents, Picture Postcard, light tunnel and the snowfall plus Eric the Elf.
The village has various food outlets on site including the Elfin’s restaurant, Bratwurst Sausage Kiosk and the Schokokuss Mallow Shack. You can also experience the Christmas Magic by having your photograph taken on Santa’s Sleigh with a magical effect.
Your day would not be complete without seeing the big man himself and listen to one of his many stories and every boy and girl will receive a beautiful soft toy with a RRP of £15. and even parents will get a little gift as well. After your visit to Santa you are welcome to stay in Lapland Village for as long as you like but please note your there is no further entry to the set attractions in your passport.
Each of the three main attractions will last around 30 minutes leaving you lots of time to visit all of the other attractions and amenities in the Lapland Village Park.
Guests booking the 4pm & 5pm sessions will enjoy the added atmosphere of the forest at night with all the bright lights.
