F.A.Q.

Is there any car parking?
There is parking at Witton Country Park but it is operated by the council therefore charges apply.
Parking charges only apply to the main car park in Witton Country Park, from 8am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Tower Road and Pleasington car parks are free. The cost is 60p for 2 hours or £1.80 for the whole day. The machines take both coin and card payments (including contactless).

What is the Booking fee for?
A £5 booking fee is added to all ticket sales, this goes towards  admin fees, credit card fees and postal costs in the processing of your ticket.

 Where is Lapland Village located?
Lapland Village is set in the heart of a magical forest in Witton Country Park. To start your experience we will take you on a train ride from the car park, through the park and into the forest, ticket holders only.

What is the Elves School?
Children will be taught how to behave like ‘good elves; they will learn the Elves Code, colour in a hat and receive an Honorary Elf certificate with a few magical elements thrown in.

What eating facilities are there?
There will be the Bratwurst Swing Grill, the Schokokuss Shack, Sugar Plum Mary’s Pick n Mix sweet stall and Elfin’s Food Court with a variety of meals and snacks available. Plus the Lapland Tipi Bar serving a selection of alcoholic beverages including a special Lapland Beer and of course Mulled Wine.

Can we bring our own food and drink?
Sorry no food or drink can be brought onto the site.

When will we receive our invitations?
Personal Invitations for your children will be posted out two weeks before your arrival dated. If you have not received them 7 days before arrival then please contact us.

Will there be toilets available?
Yes, mobile toilets will be provided including a disabled toilet.

When are the best times to visit?
While we provide a full entertainment schedule each day some people prefer it  better when it starts to go dark when you will be able to take advantage of the lights at night.

Will we see real Reindeer?
Yes, the reindeer are with us all the time.

How long will the visit last?
Your visit to Lapland Village will last four hours, within that time you will have three pre-set attractions to visit plus Gingerbread decorating with Mrs Claus and the Fun Fair Rides leaving you two hours to enjoy other attractions the village has to offer. You are welcome to stay as long as you want but you will not gain entry to the pre-set attractions for a second time.

Can I arrive early?
Your ticket is only valid for the session on the date and time that you have booked, any late arrivals are subject to capacity at the time you arrive.

Can I bring my Dog?
Sorry, pets are not allowed on site.

Do we see Santa at the same time as other families?
Yes, you do, Santa’s place is designed theatre style and Santa will tell the boys and girls one of his stories before giving every child an exclusive quality soft toy with a retail value of £15

Can we just turn up on the day?
Sorry no, bookings must be made on line..

I do not have any children can we still visit?
Yes you can, Lapland Village is open to everyone, although older visitors will not be eligible to receive Santa’s gift.

How much are the rides in the Lapland Village?
All rides are free and are included in the ticket price.

What are the ticket prices?
Tickets vary between £30 and £40 per person for daytime sessions and £40 and £50 for evening sessions. Infants aged 1 and under are £15 which covers the cost of Santa’s toy.

Covid-19
In the event that restrictions are put in place to prevent the attraction from operating we will revert to a new version of our Drive Thru Santa Experience, This will involve part refunds as ticket prices will be different.
